Funland

Funland is a huge entertainment, games and sports complex situated in the Trocadero centre, Piccadilly, London. They wanted a digital sign to be displayed on the LED screen on the outside of the building. Because the screen is curved in a semi-circular shape, the entirety of the screen cannot all be seen at any one time. Dividing the animation into three sections got around this problem so all the content can be seen from anywhere at any one time.

Crunch

Crunch are an award winning accountancy solutions company based in Brighton. Their product is both software and support driven. They wanted an animated video sting, a few segways and an endboard for a promotional video called a 'crunch cast'. The job involved character design, storyboarding, animation and sound effects. This is just the animated video intro

Ben & Jerry's

This is a classic example of my DOOH work - Sainsbury's wanted to show some trial content in a few select stores in London and I was asked to make three 20 second spots for Ben & Jerry's, Matthew Walker and Quality Street. As usual there was pretty much no brief or assets so I used web searches to find the relevant branding and fonts etc. This is the Ben & Jerry's ad.

Avon

Avon are apparently the biggest selling cosmetics company in Great Britain. For Christmas 2010 they produced a series of videos to promote various products as gifts. This meant that I produced 6 or 7 seperate animations for Avon including logo animation, video intros and endboards. This is one of the video intros.

Joint Agent

An estate agent based in the East End contacted me regarding an animation to promote his pioneering new BTB website. It needed to be character based, fun and get across the message of how easy and beneficial using the site is. I had to write the script, design the characters, storyboard, animate and put in SFX. Sadly the project was cancelled before it was finished, but you can see how far I got.

Flock of Flying Birds

I'm always trying to find new ways to find business and promote myself. This was my first attempt at making stock footage for the stock animation website Pond5. If and when I get a quiet day I now use that time to build generic backgrounds for people to buy and download to use as backgrounds in their presentations, videos or whatever they want it for.

Aeroplanes and Postcards


This is another attempt at making stock footage for the stock animation website Pond5. This one is more specifically targeted at travel agents. They can buy and download this animation and superimpose their own prices and deals onto the postcard images.

The Flying Squad

The TV script writer Max Pemberton contacted me about an idea he had for a kids TV cartoon. He sent me a script and some pencil character sketches from a friend of his and I got busy drawing and animating this 'teaser' to be presented to television companies. This job needed a very fast turnaround and was on a zero budget so you can see it is simple but it is still hopefully impactful.
